Writing a blog is not as easy as I first thought. I did not wish to go on and on about nothing so I have decided that it might be interesting to keep you in formed of a new direction in my life.
So here goes, Oh and I will also start to input more simple ideas about photography.
After working for two years at home I have decided to take the plunge and open a studio. I did have my eye on a nice little business (I wont name it, as they might get upset ) but to cut a long story short, during our negotiations for the purchase of said business I had an email from the assistant and she asked me if I could come into the studio. I was under the impression that she wanted to meet me as the owner had told her I was looking to purchase his business.
So you can imagine my surprise when she informed me that me he was now serving at “her majesties pleasure” and had received a 2 year prison sentence for blackmail. Well I think the phrase I used rhymes with Clucking Bell!. We had invited this person into our home and at no point did he give any indication of what he had been up to (I suppose its not the thing you would shout from the roof tops)
I made a revised offer for the business but the family have turned that down, so I was left with one option to find my own studio and go it alone.
Well I have now found an office that I can convert into a nice little studio and the landlord has agreed to an initial 12 month rental.
I have formed a limited company as I feel this will give the business a more professional image. I have a meeting with the bank next week to open a business account so hopefully should be up and running in the next few weeks.
